Has this been posted before? Im sure I remember something like this but it looks different. Still not quite the right style imo (sitting next to my lovely V1000+ as I say that)

Don't see the point myself, I think the 360 case looks better, obviously you have to invalidate your warranty and finally, the cooling fan is not a noise issue, the DVD is!

I can't bring myself to bin mine there's a few hundred quids worth there even though it's about as useful as a doorstop.

Can you use a standard PC DVD-ROM drive with this Lian-Li case? else I can't imagine why anyone would bother.

I believe the PS3 is cooled by 1x 120mm fan.

I don't own one so I wouldn't know - is it a silent 120mm fan though? As that makes a lot of difference

I wouldn't have a clue. The PS3 is hotter than my Xbox360 though, quite considerably so.

For the most part it's very quiet. Mines loud when playing DVD's and especially when upscaling apparently.
