First there is a case for your 360.

Lian Li had something special under wraps here at the pre-show day at CeBIT 2008. Hidden in a cardboard box was a pre-production sample of its brand-new Xbox 360 chassis.

Made from its lush, anodised, brushed aluminium, the enclosure features enough space for all the internal components of the console along with pre-prepared water-cooling holes in the rear.

In addition, the chassis has the necessary preparation for Elite owners to transfer their hardware to, with the space for the HDMI already catered for, and the noisy cooling of the console replaced by a single, low-speed 120mm fan on the rear.

Whilst the power-brick is still external, we think this is a pretty sweet alternative to the standard 360 enclosure. What’s more, it’s rumoured to be hitting the shelves for around $80 USD.

Next there is a huge tower case.

Just been linked to this thread from the Consoles forum, loving the XBox case - what the hell would you use that super tower for though? :D

Also as a side note, I think those pictures will be removed due to the watermark on the pics, OcUK and that site dont get a long too well.

I do like that to be fair, but it doesn't quite look right and doesn't look finished yet.

The mobo doesn't seem to fit quite flush with the case at the back.

So 1x120mm fan cools the whole 360? Surely that fan cant be silent

It uses 2 60mm fans atm, a 4000rpm (loud) 60mm fan moves roughly half the amount of air as a 1000rpm 120mm fan.

Assuming the 360s fans spin at that RPM or lower a very quiet Nexus or Silent Eagle 1000 would be plenty.

Edit: I've had a look and the fans are rated at 4600rpm/41db/29cfm so there wouldn't be any problem with an even slower 120mm fan.

The tall case looks nice, maybe a rival to the Mozart for a large HTPC/server setup. I'm not too sure about those sideways facing drives though, they look a bit out of place.

PK!

Are people not quite noticing how damn small that tower is :/
No way a competitor to a Mozart, Can't see a PA120.3 fitting along with any noteworthy graphics card, the bottom half would have to be butchered to get one in anyway.
The case only supports 4 3.5bays down at the bottom, then 2 in the top.
Only 2 dvd drives are actually going to be usable (2 on either side, but the case isn't wide enough to use all of them)

Most pointless case I have ever seen from Lian Li, really can't think of any Lian Li I wouldn't prefer to have than it :/

Was really hoping to see something interesting here.
