I think he means high.
No way he could do 30fps average with Very high
Well i cant see the new GTX being much better than the old one.If the old GTS and new one is anything to go by plus of cause the reviews that have been doing the rounds if you can beleave them and if you can the move from a old GTX to a new one would be just as bad a move.
theres no reviews of the 9800 GTX, it's not out yet.
theres no reviews of the 9800 GTX, it's not out yet.Yes i do mean at very high, i havent changed my sig yet, i just upgraded to vista 64 and bought another 4gigs of ram, and no im not lieing before anyone says this its only 30fps for crying out loud not exactly super amazing.
The new 9800 GTX is basically two 8800 GTX's strapped together, so it's basically the same as having 2 8800 GTX's in SLI. So it's not going to be just a little faster.

No its not.
The GX2 is two 8800 GTS strapped together.
The new 9800 GTX is basically a slightly faster single 8800 GTS 512mb with the same DX 10.0, and with just the first 8 changed to a 9.

Fixed, 9 series don't have Dx10.1 as they are just 8800's with the first 8 changed to a 9.
Think you will find it supports DX 10.1
Ive never seen them having Dx10.1 mentioned, just Dx10, got a link ?
