Thta's the problem i had. In the end i went down to Ikea and bougth two sets of legs, then just got the longest desktop i could find. Cost about £70 in total.

Legs are called Vika Fagerlid. They've got really wide "tops" for the desk to sit on, to minimise *** chance of the middle of the desk seeping under the weight.
