Bush endorses McCain in US race

I think it means that McCain is the republican party presidential candidate, Bush is in the republican party and the current president, therefore he'd better endorse McCain for the good of his party. Bush and McCain are very different politicians imo.

Doesn't mean a lot really, pretty obvious Bush would endorse McCain as they're the same party.

are you talking about the same guy here ?

we're talking about John Mccain the vietnam veteran that has publicly stated that he's quite happy for the US to keep a prescence in iraq for the next 100 years ?

despite the american populations desires for a speedy exit ?

Barack obama is the wars biggest critic, but hes a democrat.

So that means McCain has won, if bush endorses him and the neocons endorse bush.....

Seems a rather pointless endorsement, since McCain has already won the nomination. Of course, this has no bearing on his chances of winning the election.

Typical Bush, takes forever to make a decision and ends up making one that doesn't change anything.

Wahey! Just what I thought! What is the point in Bush endorsing McCain AFTER McCain WINS the nomination? :D

Quite frankly, I don't think the Republicans really have a chance. There is far too much publicity and interest in the Democrat race. I would bet that whoever wins the Democrat nomination wins the White House.

Only when he is going downhill, otherwise i would expect oxygen bottles and a walker.

I think the same but not for the same reasons as you! :p I think the Republicans are tarnished because of that George W Bush fella. You know, Mr POTUS.

That and that the Democrats could see either the first woman president (and First Husband!) or the first black president. There even seem to be rumours that if Obama wins the nomination that Clinton would join him on a joint ticket as his prospective VP and vice-versa. America, tired of Iraq/George W Bush, might just swing for that! Voting in either the first black president and female VP OR the first ever female president and the first black VP might be a major reason to vote Democrat.

I would bet that whoever wins the Democrat nomination wins the White House.

£10 and you're on! :p

Obama doesn't stand a chance of getting in the white house. He's middle-eastern- looking and his name rhymes with "Osama". For all we know he could be Bin Laden with a phillishave.
