Nissan 100NX performance parts

The NX100 is as rank as a line of taxis. At least a Sera would be quite exclusive (even if it has looks that only a mother could love).
The guy wants a 100NX.
Even I wouldn't own one (and that's saying something...) but he wants one and wants to know what 'performance' options there are...So why not answer that, eh?

Pick something else. Seriously, the 100NX is an absolutely terrible car which is almost completely without merit. Why would you want to do a project on such a terrible car when there are loads of great potential projects out there for the same sort of money?
If you're looking at a 100bhp one then its more likely to be a ga16 engine than a sr20
The sr20 has more tuning parts avaliable like cams, pulleys, manifolds etc etc but you can still get a few bits for the ga16, manifolds etc

My mate has a 100NX - it's pretty awful... and he bought some daft exhaust for it, meaning I used to be able to hear him from about 3 miles away.
I say "used to" because the car is now sitting rusting away in his drive... he has no idea about money so he's contemplating spending YET MORE money to get it roadworthy again (I think the car cost £2k and he's spent the same again keeping it running!!)

Putting bike throttle bodies on a SR20 is very expensive. A turbo would be cheaper. Instead of getting a 100nx get yourself a Primera P10. Can be had for 500 pounds then strip it out and your looking at around 1000kg. Fully independent suspension as standard. No live axles like modern cars
If you look really hard you might be able to find yourself a early P10 Primera with the high port engine. They have around 160 brake as standard and rev all the way to 7800RPM. They are like gold dust though.then i think it shows what you can do
