there seems to be two versions floating about just now, can anyone tell me the difference?

YT08-37E2 and YT08-37E1

Theres is also some other ones such as JT02-E2 or GT03-37E2.

Been looking into the Hannspree my self, reading on other forums the JT seems like the best one with less issues. I have been told the GT is the newest one and has no known issues such as tearing and ghosting which is found on the YT, it's also got a built in digital tuner. I think the one with E2 is the latest one where as the E1, not sure on that though to maybe someone can correct me. Theres a massive thread over on AVforums about the Hannspree XV37, so you might want to have a quick read of that.

Better contrast ratio and 2xhdmi i think is the difference between the 2 models
