Asus P5K-E and Crucial Ballistix?

Just got a P5K-E and trying to run with ballistix pc5300 is a no go, put some geil in its fine, anyone had any sucess? I just updated to the latest bios

Odd. Ballistix usually works with everything.

Have you tried setting the voltage to 2.2v before putting all 4 sticks in?

yeah I tried that, but ive only tried 2 sticks at the moment

Try each stick, one at a time.

sticks are fine, used the other stick to up volts and set timings running ok now
