Shame really i often looked at the reviews before buying, that is/was instead of having to start a thread here and having to wait on a reply. But recently started noticing that every product on sale was 'brilliant' or not reviewed.

So i take it then you can only really judge by the amount of good reviews rather than the actual reviews. Definately if i see no reviews i presume its because the product either isn't that good or its price is too high to have had many people buying it.

The review section could be so much more if it was balanced, and it appears not to be, it may well be, but my judgement tells me otherwise i guess. I want to be able to use it for what its intended for... a quick run-down of other peoples experiences be that good or bad. I dont want to have to find out for myself on everyhting i buy. I could google each product, but time is often limited and that renders the 'reviews' pointless anyway.

Balancing the good to bad ratio against what we see here on the forum things do not add up, but then i guess thats partly why we have this forum, where to be fair a company lets us rant or rave particular products. With little oppostition.

As you can see this is just from a couple of sections, I'm not about to go through the lot. I hope I've made my point & would like an aknowledgement please :)

I didn't check every single product, but even with the reviews that you have linked to, it is still very unbalanced. Why not publish every review and let the customer make their own mind up? the only ones that should not be published are the ones that are not product related or contain bad language.

Game support low at the moment, but interest is getting there. They have included some new features in the drivers, like "tear" tech'. Believe me I've played with the realtime demos and its awesome.
taken from the Physix's comments :D :D 90 quid for tech demo's pmsl

I made loads of 4/5 star reviews and they never got put up.

If the review is genuine it gets put on the site

I think it was the E2160 the first review was by someone called I lie because i'm poor

and message was "I got 4.6ghz out of this baby, i hold the world pi record at 6 seconds look out for my name.

I must admit I have noticed that most reviews seem to be of high ratings only. That was one of the reasons that a certain online etailer grew so popular over time. Rating matter and help customers on purchases. I would like to see more varied reviews make their way through. If a product is good then its not going to be harmed by one or two bad reviews. Its all about the average rating really. I would certainly hope that all reviews get through tbh no matter how silly as one can always read and make their own minds up.
