that'll do!

I like the top one best, very nice colour to it :)

My parents are the same with me - they hate photos that don't feature anybody, so when I managed to take ~800 in 4 days I had to say that around only ~60 came out properly lol!

No 1 is the best if the bunch. I like the idea, but was wondering if you are going to have any possible "legal" issues with you in these abandoned places?

You could always have an avatar as a stand in.... Kermit the frog in a tunnel, Kermit in a Cinema, Kermit in the control room, for example :p

1 and 2 are deffo favs - I love the light in number 2. Number 1 has a brilliant vanishing point and I am a dead sucker for vanishing points.

I think you're right, more pictures should feature you - adds more sense of "I was there" if you understand what I mean.

yeah, that was the idea behind it. Plus, i make a damn good subject (buwhaha!)

ta, the top i've started playing more with white balance. In the past i've been using the dropper tool in lightroom, and then maybe a minor tweak. But in that shot, i did the balance and the tint as i thought it should look - then played with other settings and did it again. I think the colour looks a lot richer on it.

good effort really do like them do you use a remote or on a timer

i have a remote, but i use it on timed mode as well. Giving me chance to put the remote back in my pocket!

not really an issue, no :)

yeah the light in number 2 (its actually a TV studio) was fantastic, i used a shot similar to that one for previous competition entry.

It depends on what you're trying to do. Some shots benefit from people in the image, but some don't suit it at all.

In my opinion I'd say the last shot would be good without you there. The strange, almost halo effect behind your head is very distracting.

#4 is blurred and is of nothing in particular
#3 is more of a tourist "I was there" shot
#2 seems too dark to me, for it to be of any interest other than the roof
#1 This one is actually quite interesting, with an angle that suits it well, and is interesting to look at due to all the detail evenly spread throughout the image :)
