I don't think COD4 uses matchmaking... well all I know is it works fine for me playing ranked matches with 48 hour codes. Halo 3 however you can't play matchmaking.

Yeah the code worked that you kindly gave me, but since expired. I think you get 2 goes on 48 hour before you have to buy/register a new account.

My code has since arrived, got an email saying he will give it to me at tea time :confused:
