Hi folks,

Well its that time of year again that I'm looking to book a holiday with the missus. This year however we've decided to book via the internet rather than using a high street travel agents. We've both got time booked off mid to end June and have around about £600 to spend (can maybe squeeze another £100 out).

Just looking for folks opinions of places which they have been and would like to recommend, as right now as I'm looking on various websites I've just got a large list of destinations in my face and can't really make my mind up on where we prefer (apart from Mexico but we're kind of priced out of that).

Ideally looking for a beech type holiday with some places to go a few days, maybe some nice places to go out for a meal at night etc. Basically a relaxing holiday away.

So Ocuk, if you could be so kind, recommend away :) everythings appreciated

Orlando. Loads of things to do and you are pretty central for accessing beaches on the Altlantic Coast and the Gulf Coast if you hire a car. A 90 minute drive will get you to most and you can take your pick from Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach, St Pete's Beach or Clearwater. Alternatively you could just hit Typhoon Lagoon and enjoy the waves before hitting the theme parks in the afternoon. :D

For £600
Don't see that quite happening!:p...But it is a great place to go to nevertheless!

Consider the fact that I'm going in May for three weeks with car hire included and a premium seat upgrade for £900. Going for two weeks for £600 isn't a difficult deal to find, just don't expect to stay in a Disney hotel.

Have you considered Ibiza? I'm quite aware of the yobs that go there and how painful spending two hours in the plane with them would be, but the island isn't as small as some might think and there are some lovely beaches. There's also plenty of nice restaurants which you'll be directed to if you stay in a nice small hotel run by locals. Plenty of quieter bars for the evenings. Overall, avoid the parts of the island reknown for clubbers and enjoy the island's beauty.
