Last known English Holocaust victim has died

....he literally lived behind bars there - with bars on the windows and his letterbox sealed - as he had been targeted by neo-Nazis.

A brave man to continue what he did into his later years as well.

I can't even imagine the life he has lead and the things he has seen I just hope if I find myself in what appears to be a hopeless situation I can have tenth of the bravery and drive to keep going that this man has shown.

RIP and I'm glad he can now finally find peace.

My god, i'm 99% positive that he came to my High School when I was doing my A Levels, during a whole day the school devoted to the Holocaust.

I seem to recall he was the focal point of the day, sitting in the assembly hall and telling his story. It took around an hour and even the chavviest of chavs were sat in awed silence for the whole time. Some people went away with tears in their eyes.

RIP.
