legal help with ebayer (piracy)

its an older version so i thought £40 would be a good deal.

It's fony as I have to copy a "patch" (aka crack) to make it work and the disc is a printed DVDR.

I could have easily downloaded and made myself a copied version but was looking for a legit copy for my business. £40 down the toilet at the moment. I hope paypal take my side. Anyway back to my point how can I close this crook down?
 
Report him to ebay too, get him kicked off there first.

Send the same e-mail to all the companies at the same time. Would also be fun to CC it to him, maybe not if he knows your address though.
 
Well I need to get his real address to so I can inform police. Did a whois of the domians bytesales.com and his paypal email wheeeze.co.uk but not sure which one might be legit if any.

No one likes a grass, get over it!
If your really unhappy ask the seller for a refund, no doubt he will be more than happy too give your money back.
 
Hope all the GRASS's here don't have a single copyrighted picture, mp3, program ..etc ..etc on their computers otherwise not only are you scummy grass's your also hypocrites :rolleyes:

IMO there's a world of difference between people just illegally using copyrighted materiel (for example, a picture on their desktop) and selling copyrighted material.

how is he a "grass" for stopping someone illegally selling pirated software for profit?

I quickly whois'd the domain, theres some contact information for you to follow up, also I'm sure his web host (digitalcityhosting.com) would love to know what he's hosting on there servers.
