Aye Karumba, Cor Blimey, Struth....

I've got this thing called a "cup of tea" down stairs, you gotta see it guys!!! Its 75% nicer than coffee. I don't care if you lot don't like it. I think its brilliant, I don't even care if you don't even care that I care!!! Thats just how much I care....I don't know why I'm posting....ahhhhh help quick I don't know whats wrong with me...why am I posting this stuff!!!! Why whats going on....
..

Do you have some benches that prove tea to be 75% nicer than coffee? I'm suspicious of your sources..

But for other people are after the best card in the planet(I would say the card money can buy), 9800GX2 is the only choice. It eats 3870X2, 8800Ultra, 8800GTS G92 for breakfast. I would say it is at least 50% ahead of all others according to the leaked benchies.

The only benchies i've seen are the ones where the hd3780x2 beats it?

i would love some linkies :D

Looks like you've made up your mind long before you even created this thread and you're just looking for reassurances from other members?

Well it's too early to tell so nobody knows. But if it's anything more than £250 it's not worth it. If you're convinced and determined to get a GX2 then good for you.

sorry nope. I will likely to be buying a card but will be wanting to see drivers/benchies and even if it is significantly better it must be a good price as, as I'd imaging many others, will be lookign at next card as a stop gap till next gen cards are ready and drivers matured a litle til next upgrade.

No I don't but I know its true, OCOCOC told me, or OC-Oh-COC as I informally know him :p

He actually works for the inquirer, but I'm sure you all guessed that too :p

(sorry :))

Well, that explains a lot.....

He was here about 3 mins before i started a personal war with him.

But anyway, back on topic, i must say, a fanboy thread based on false or speculative information for a card that doesnt yet exist and with no confirmed price or specs is comparable to suicide on these forums....

but then, as you have all probubly seen, OCOCOC has *** DOLLARZ $$$$ to fund his 'hobbie' and the 9800GX2 will be upgraded within 3 months as is his tradition....

My god! hes at 111 posts after only 2 days! And everything ive seen him post has been dross!

Well, maybe it's too expensive and not so worthy to some people who have been 'spoiled' by 8800GT/S G92:p So you guys can always look away and enjoy yourself.

OK, probably you guys would say, 'I can SLI 2x 88GTS G92 and beat this bloody money waster.' Well, in that case, some people could SLI 3x 9800GX2 (it supports 3-way SLI with 790i as far as I know) and blow everything away. Just as same as the story that an overclocked 8800GT would never beat an overclocked 8800GTSG92:)

With another angle of views, as 'Makunouchi' mentioned, a 9800GX2 would save you a bit of money on buying a SLI board and some electricity bills. If you going to buy 2x 8800GT and a nVidia 750i/780i, it would cost you same kind of money with some efforts setting up and more noise from the fans.

So that's it. I'm standing firm by my 'coming' 9800GX2 :)

Edit: I haven't seen any complaints against Intel's QX9650, QX9770 and QX9775 for god's sake. They are selling way more expensive than 9800GX2 and give you much less actual improvement compairing with oced Q9450 or even oced Q6600.

Edit2: 9800GX2 only supports 2x SLI. Thanks for the lastest info from 'jaykay'!

Go read your own posts, slap yourself around the head a few times, think about what you want to say and come back.

OCOCOC Let me try to explain agian to you, poeple on here are not mugs and dont take kindly to fools!. If you keep spouting this crap you will keep getting your arse handed to you.
Sort yourself out m8! or just do us all a favor and jog on!.

Best Regards,
Jigger.

Do we have someone who can finally step up to Cyber-Mav's mantle? :p

that's not entirely fair,
mav was at least half right in saying physics were the future
he just put his eggs in the wrong basket conscerning physx cards as dedicated hardware

The above on the other hand is just drivvel and marketing

OCOCOC why do you just post usless info that people already know already or that doesnt actually matter? And then you dont bother to reply to any of the comments made in the thread.

You havnt been looking very hard then have you.

Now come on guys if he wants to buy it let the guy buy it. We will all see what is and what is not good and whether you wish to dish the cash for it is entirely up to each individual.

Would I buy one? probably not but I will see. None the less I am not going to slate a guy for speaking his mind and buying what he wants.

Give it a rest.
