Saw a 3 series with them on the motorway about and hour ago.

When I passed him I had a look and thought they looked quite good.:eek:
 
If you pass a BMW on the motorway, don't look back. It makes them angry. :p

I can't actually decide about window tints in general, they're almost a bit chav :(
 
Was it just the rear windows? If so there's a reasonable chance it could have been the factory "privacy glass" option rather than after market tints... (see my new car thread for a pic...)

No,

It was the rears and fronts.

They were not overly dark though to be chavvy:p
 
I have OEM blinds on my rear side windows.

Following on from discussion in PeterNems new car thread a bit, but what's the exact law regarding window tints on the front? Because Im sure I've seen cars around with almost fully tinted front windows. It's a right bugger when they pull up next to you at a junction and block your vision of the road :mad:

no worse than a softroader/van/whatever though lol.

the law is that you can have it pretty much as dark as you like on the back, but there's a limit on the fronts, PeterNem's m5 has the maximum tint on his fronts, there's a pic of it in his thread.
 
I've got the BMW rear blinds. They are fixed on by some clips, so you can take the blinds off if needed.

These are the factory tints on my E61.

The front windows actually look nearly as dark as the back windows the photo just hasnt captured it.
 
Whats wrong with image shack :confused:.

I only like tints if the whole car is tinted, it looks odd with just the rear glass tinted IMO.
