Never understood why Drivers for a CAD type cards would be good for Gaming as the Elsa Gloria II Cards I used to give customers were slower than the G-Force 2 GTS Ultra as for CAD etc.

Unified driver architecture, they work on all Nvidia cards if the card is in the .inf file.

How do you know the unified drivers are not written for both?

I'm not trying to make an argument here, I just think you're making a some assumptions.

That's true, they are. This is just a driver though.

Yea and you would think a Driver made for a card aimed at CAD etc would be more coded for IQ not FPS.

Those Quadro 169.61 drivers were fine on other cards, games played fine, and iq was spot on.

I have alll these years found it strange drivers for a non Gaming card actually dont drop FPS.

IQ is important when doing CAD etc, not FPS, and thats why the Quadros can do 24x AA etc.

I know IQ is important for CAD, as people have said its the unified driver arc, the drivers will proberbly have extras in for the quadro's that dont get utilised on the gaming cards.

No it dont show the card as a quadro, the quadro drivers work on all cards, no difference.

These aren't "strange drivers for a non-gaming card", Nvidia drivers are unified.
