Would you eat heart?

Ofall is becoming rather fashionable again....probably because it's rather tasty! Depends how you dress it up really. I remember reading an article showing massive decreases of sausage sales because there was a picture of a pig on them. Most people just don't want to be made aware of the reality.
I personally am open-minded and will eat most cuts & offall as long as the animal has been well reared.
 
I like liver and kidneys (not so much kidneys, but nice in steak pie etc) but I'd be willing to try other bits within reason. ie no testicles, tendons, fatcakes, colonburgers etc
 
I was having this conversation in the chinese with a few mates at lunch and I think we all said we would eat anything once and if it tastes good then id have no problem continuing to have it, also things like liver and kidneys are packed full of vitamins and minerals

I'd probably eat heart, being scottish i love haggis but i'd rather not know exactly everything in it, aparently its banned in the US as it doesnt meet basic food standards lol
 
I wont eat anything from an animals head, or it dangly bits, besides that it's all fair game, except lungs, they're mostly air anyway.

I work in a butchers at the weekend so I get to experience the joys of removing the various squidgy bits. :D

That would be very good experience actually, that and you'll get cheap meat

Yes.

I've been offered Puffin before but turned it down on account of the fact that I was about to be violently sick from the soured picked Cod I'd just eaten.

Otherwise I'd have given it a go.

I've had it before - I wouldn't choose it but I'd eat it.

I quite like liver and kidneys too. I think I've had braised lamb or sheep's brains before. I would probably try a testicle but I don't know if I'd enjoy it. I'm a firm believe it at least giving it a go.

I enjoy liver and kidneys, I would try things but unless I enjoyed them I wouldn't say I'd eat them.
 
I'd eat pretty much anything - Provided its cleaned and cooked.

Although I can't say I'd expect to find it nice. Never been a fan of liver, heart etc.

But people's pickyness does amaze me sometimes :o
