Aye I sure did. and cruise is awesome I must say used it for most of the boring bits on the way home.
 
Aye was 57quid with Sainsburys Super with the petrol light on. not too bad at current prices, although size of tank doesnt matter its how many miles I could get :D
 
Aye seemed quite good on the trip home, 70 miles to 1/8th tank couldnt get fuel economy as didnt know how to reset it until I read the manual when I got home.
 
Lovely car, just bought an ST TDCI recently myself on an 07, but do miss the smoothness of the V6 I downgraded from lol.

Meg isn't a bad forum, yes there's plenty of taste abandonment but what's also refreshing is that members don't slate each other over it either. I even had a complete stranger pick up some door motors for my mk2 and pop round and fit them completely gratis after mentioning I was having CL issues. Don't think I'd go to a meet up though lol.. too many dodgy splitters and giant ford stickers as mentioned :) plus owner with wives called emma or sharon.

i went to a local meet aswell lol it was like hanging out with my dads mates, its still a great site for problems they know the cars inside out
 
I am adamant one of these will be my next car. That's lovely, good price too IMO!

For anyone who knows the answer to this; what are the differences between the pre and post facelift version? Besides the replacement of the ugly stereo ;)
 
I myself have been contemplating these - I have seen them at ford dealers for as little as 7K (estate) and 8k(saloon).

edit: Just spotted an 04 Plate on 70k with Cream leather and sat nav for £7k. My favourite combination.

Lovely motor. I'm another one considering one of these when I get shot of the Skud. Looks like I might have a bit of competition on the used market! :p
 
Crawley near gatwick?
I have seen a couple of St220's being ragged around in Crawley recently, not sure of the reg plates though. Hope its not one of those!
