I looooove Hoobastank. Very moving and is sung with so much energy.

However I can't say I have ever come across anything is the same style. I don't even know what genre it would be classed as other than rock.

So anybody have any other suggestions?

Oh, I would also suggest that the genre is 'pop-rock'. I would maybe suggest some 'Good Charlotte', too. Oh, and for a selection of this type of music I would, erm, I don't think recommend is the right word as it's not my cup-of-tea, but the American Pie film soundtracks might be up your street.

Good Charlotte is just a little too pop for me. Well I'm only going by that one song that was released.

Check out a song called 'The River' (on YouTube). It's the best song that they have done, IMO, though I'm not a fan just going on what I've heard on the radio.

Hey, they're in one of my favorite tube-of-you vids! 2nd song, 'bout 3 minutes in, after Muse :)

Goes quite well with 300MPH carnage :p

S'good stuff. I'm off out for a bit now but I'll have a flick thro' my stuff later as I know I've got some similar :)

Dashboard Confessional maybe.

you've obviously heard lots of Hoobastank!

op, what Hoobastank albums have you heard? They Don't Make Basketball Shorts Like They Used To is definitely one to look for if you've not heard it.

Have you tried Incubus? 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Chevelle.

All of those are great.

Every Man for Himself
Hoobastank
The Reason

I don't have Every Man for Himself! I'm shocked by that. It must have slipped past my radar.

Yep got all albums by Incubus, 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin & Jimmy

Don't like Nickelback and haven't hear of Chevelle so will give that a try.

Got Dashboard Confessionals albums as well. Liked the song from scrubs.

BTW I should point out I'm after stuff like the song "The Reason". So stuff like Dashboard Confessional is on the right track :)

EDIT: Am I some sort of idiot. I listed I have "Everyman for himself" and said I dont have it... I do have it.

OMG that track is awesome. M.Shadows has one of those really cool voices that get's inside you.

Trying out Simple Plan. Not too sure on it yet.

Avenged Sevenfold make me do this :(

I recommend Jimmy Eat World. And whatever Sic said. He'll be right about these things.

I tried Simple Plan, not very good at all IMO. Avenged are amazing, shame their two recent albums don't live up to Waking the Fallen though :(

I'm going to try out Filter, Chevelle 311 and Audiovent.

IIRC Audiovent don't exist anymore, their singer is now the lead singer of Adema which you might want to try out Tobes, I think their on your list anyway now, all four of their albums are pretty different due to having a differnt singer on every one of them :p (Apart from the first two)

The singer in Audiovent/Adema is the brother to the Incubus singer whos name I can't quite remember at the moment...

Sorry, Adema singer isn't that dude, it's the singer fro the band Level. Although Audiovent have split up. Was right with that one :D
