Computer Fix Limited in Liverpool

Right - just got it delivered, and it appears that all components are inside and they look intact. Just ordered some different RAM so hopefully will be able to have a play with it fairly soon :)

EDIT - and I didn't get charged for anything as well. I did yell at the guy a bit though regarding the phone not working..

i'm surprised that no-ones asked this, but, WHY THE HELL DID YOU HAND A COMPUTER OVER TO A STORE, WHEN YOU HAVE ACCESS TO 10,000 HIGHLY SKILLED NERDS RIGHT HERE?

NERD FIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right, so not long after you contacted their website designers, they come out of the blue with the old changed landline routine, give you your pc back and don't charge you anything? Classic.

It does seem very convenient doesnt it.

I smell (sounds like) kite.

I'd say your very lucky. Although to be sure you could always go check where their new shop is in a few days and see if it is actually there.

I'm sorry but what do you mean? Do you think they *were * planning to do a runner with my computer?

Well you knew to whois the website etc.. and got in contact with the person who registered the domain name and supposedly constructed the website for them.

Ofcourse it could all be totally legit but again it could be complete crap and they realised that you would persist and may give them more grief than what it was worth so got in contact and fobbed you off.

From this thread I have learned that all small companys are criminal organisations that spend every second planning new ways to steal my stuff

I know what you mean - not all small companies are crooks. However, when a company in Liverpool has set up a shop and that shop cannot be contacted either by phone or by physically going to the shop, because it is in the process of "relocating", it does raise suspicions.
