Wish me luck... I have been chosen as the main photographer, with help from a friend. I know the people getting married and one side of the family (groom). I am looking forward to it quite a bit, not so the wedding itself as they are boring. :p

It is being done in a Reg office and having a simple do after and night do to.

I have got a list of what needs to be taken so I will be starting early tomorrow to get some easy shots before the masses turn up. The ceremony isnt till 2pm.

Now must check the batteries are charged..:)

Well. We had a succesful day yesterday with me and my partner. I was quite nervous during the ceremony, what with not quite knowing what I can and cant do. Other than that all was good. We managed to get around 700 photos taken and a fair few keepers.

I will get around posting a few up on here once we have sifted through them all and chosen what ones to have a play with.

First wedding and deffiantly not our last, from a photographers point of view not a couples:p

Ok I have had a play with some photos and here is a few I have nearly done with. Excuse the jpeg compression.. These are not finals.

We tried to capture a more natural feel with our approach to the wedding. Not too many formals. More of a candid affair.:)

C&C welcome.

Is it me or does the dress appear to be eating the mans leg in the third shot. My eye is constantly drawn to it.

The selective colour thing don't work for me. I would've taken most of the bride shot with that tattoo on the opposite side as it ruins the photo.

That was the only thing that annoyed us. The brides tattoo, it wasnt the nicest of things to have on show. She wanted it in the photos, not my wedding.

As I have said it was our first wedding shoot and I think it went well in all. Nerves and rushing around as the couple were more interested in getting to the reception to have a drink:rolleyes:.

We didnt have much to work with as it was on a shoestring budget so a fair few of the photos are pretty boring and basic. Im sure we can have a play more in PS to bring out some interest.

Thanks for the comments anyway:)
