Yea, nice. But I wasn't actually talking about you or replying to you.

But thanks for the rant anyway :)

Err... if you weren't replying to me or talking to me then what do you expect me to think if you quote my post directly?:confused::p

Will Gill sold his after it span 360 degrees on a wet Motorway whilst travelling in a straight line.

Will Gill knows how to drive and has experience of many performance cars. Phate does not, and should instead buy a hot hatchback.

I'd agree..

Not wanting to be inflammatory, and it's nice you are giving him such good advice, but in reality, you have had an accident yourself caused by a lack of experience/skill, and you certainly haven't sold your highish powered car because of it, as I wouldn't expect you to, so why keep on at him?

Ok but a Supra isnt going to be cheap to keep on the road.

I never thought for a second it would be.

At the minute, the current situation is I'm going into rented accommdation for a few months whilst Dad buys a house then I'll be moving in with him.

Just re-read, I did quote you :p doh.

I took your post to mean you wished you'd done what Scooby did, hence my reply supporting your choice and criticising his.

:p

<Broken record>

Have a look at Corvettes instead, much more entertaining and cheaper all round :P At least, that's what I did when I had the choice....twice......Supra did nothing for me inside and the more GT thing wasn't quite what I wanted.

Corvette seems to have much more street 'cache' too, people are always quite keen to have a poke around, talk about it, drop compliments, give it the 'look' whereas a Jap two door coupe....

Probably a lot less to insure for you as well.

<Broken record>

:p

:eek: Sounds like a sensible move tbh.

Speaking of Will Gill, I haven't seen him post in ages and his last was on the 1st Feb, any idea where he's got to?

:)

im still around, doing my basi ski instructors course in france so have limited access to email

normal service will be resumed soon :D

Me + morning blues = defensive.:D

Glad to see you screwed up your quote though, gives me some sense of vindication. :p

i wanted a supra for ages, i understand the auto box is indeed great, however untimely kickdowns on roundabouts have caught people out i have heard.
Though i also heard of a unicorn with no spikey bit so who knows what is true these days!

I think the auto's go quite cheap but i never really wanted an import.
Anyway good luck whatever you decide!
