My car so far

Oh come off it, you posted it up for comments and I said how much I liked the front! I offered a positive comment and followed it up with my opinion on the back. Why did you even post this thread if you dont want opinions?

Infact, stuff ya then ;) You car is crap - it's got a stupid plastic interior which I'd be dissapointed with if I'd have spent £500 let alone £5k, the rear wing is totally at odds with the rear bumper, its like they couldnt bothered to design a proper bodykit so just stuck an enormous wing on it. The wheels look awful unless they are 100% clean, so they look awful 90% of the time. Your harness is probably not even fitted properly and will do you more harm than good in a crash and the engine is an annoying thing which must be caned to within an inch of its life to get any performance out of it, which is great in a small hatch but rubbish in a big saloon.;)

Ooooooooo, touchy ;):D

You can stick your rolleyes up your fundament.

If it's for 'when its on track', where is the rollcage?

Don't worry though. When you roll your car and are pinned to the seat as the roof caves in, compressing your spine and leaving you dying a slow death from internal bleeding, we get to say 'I told you so...'

:)

Sounds kinky must try that one .

There is no roll cage as I still at the moment like to use the rears seats as we are still only a 1 car family

BLAH BLAH

It doesnt matter anything has been done to my car at all you have always been the same towards it modified or not , The rear wing does actually have an effect on the car rather than some halfords stick on you seem to think it is , You have driven a civic type R EP3 if I am correct and to compair it to the accord is the most stupid thing you can ever do as there completly different engines where the EP3 is an I-VTEC and the power delivery is totally different to the H22A7 .

What effect on the car does the rear wing have?

Dont get me wrong, big wings are cool. But the rest of the bodywork needs to complement it :p Most of what I typed was a toungue in cheek response to your minor pram and toy moment btw :p

that wing will do NOTHING to the car,

for a start its FWD, and even if it was RWD it would only have effect at 1?? MPH , so no, it doesnt do anything

anyway, the car looks tidy, i dont like the harnesses though

Nice car, not keen on the double jap cans, one would be fine...
Other than that, lookin good. Can we see how low the back end sits with the coilovers fitted?

That wing probably wouldn't have any effect to like 170mph+ which the car can't do.

It looks ok to me, but it doesn't do anything.

I wouldnt dare use the harnesses especially on a track when you dont have a cage fitted, thats just asking for trouble.

Actually if it's anything like the Integra the wing will be doing something. The rear wing and front splitter were wind-tunnel designed to compliment each other and provide real downforce (granted, not exactly in the realms of F1 downforce, but they do have an effect).

You are right though, at road speeds, it really won't be making a lot of difference, if any.

Looks nice, I like white wheels on red cars. Exhausts do look a bit on big side though.

Posted a few seconds before your reply , there covers over the 2 inch exit

Downforce on the rear of the car at some stupid high speed I think

As for the tounge and cheek its just most the time you come across as if you are holier than thou , If I come across as arguementative please dont think I am taking neg comments and being a **** and not listening I just have days where I let steam off with everything at the moment going on and you seem to push the same button everytime , one of those things

I dont have a big wing and mine has a higher top speed :(

Loads of what I say is no different to what everyone else says, everyone just takes it some random way becuase its me posting it.

Because I can release them in the rear of the car when the children are in the car

Penski's point was that if you are going to fit harnesses it should be done properly and in combination with a cage, not a half-arsed job.

I've been tempted to fit harnesses before, but I would only do it if my car was stripped and caged.

Understood thank you , I got these as my knowledge of harneses is not great and saw they had the ability to be detached easy for rear passengers

While we're here, why have you fitted coilovers instead of matched springs and dampers?

*n

There specific to the CL1 not just any old random accord
I fitted them as I wanted it to sit a touch lower and you have more scope for adjustment as they are height/damping adjustable
