BBC Homepage simplified

They have a simplified version of the BBC homepage running at the moment due to technical problems. Does anybody else prefer this to the new site?

Prefer the simplified version, to be honest.

I think they're both ok, but I wish they would make the headings smaller. Everything is just unnecessarily huge.

So change the text size.

You can change the font size if you click on Display Options at the top left.

It's still pretty big though.

I like it, found it much easier to see what I was looking for in a hurry without all the graphics distracting me lol.

Unfortunately, or fortunately depending upon your point of view, that's down to BBC accessability guidelines: everything has to be designed to allow people with reasonable sight difficulties to be able to read it easily without having to make changes to their options.

i'm guessing its now back to normal? seems the same to me - although i hardly visit the homepage and probably havent noticed any small changes
