4 mobos later!!!!! yea thats right 4!

Right well after being in possesion of 4 eVGA 680i mobos, 4th arrived today, and all four have broken im thinking wtf is wrong!! either im a very static person or am dam unlucky!

first one - broken on arrivel - loose capacitors
second - died after 3 months
third - failed to post
fourth - failing to post - when posts doesnt stay on longer than 10 seconds!!

what am i doing wrong? im pretty confident nothing, im going to rma this board and but do i really want another eVGA after this experience? can i get a full refund? or shall i cahnge board completey? if so what to?

not hard luck! eVGA are the first ever mobos iv ever had to sned back! bit peed cuz i spent a fortune on waterblocks for it to, ones that only fit that board! well maybe others

if your having so much trouble then i would just get rid of it if i was you, i sold mines a couple of days ago, but not because i had problems.

I'm being serious... I got through several P5N32-E SLI and striker boards and been involved in trying to fix my friends problems with the EVGA boards before deciding that the 6 series are horrendous boards... the only nVifia 6 series board I've ever found any good at all was the gigabyte N650i SLI DS4L... I'd demand your money back by this point... or get them to replace it with a 750i.

No to sell my water blocks! nb/sb/mofsets any1 interested??

what board to get now then, apparently the evga is the best 6 series out there!! id hate to see the others! well i cant moan the board is great when it works it just getting it to work lol

soo what the best motherboard out there, both nvidea based and intel based?

I've RMA'd one (got less and less stable, then wouldn't POST at all) and the replacement seems very flakey. Unfortunately, changing that board to P35 will mean buying a new wireless NIC, because the current card (WG311T) won't work on P35 chipsets. And as it's just a BOINC machine I don't plan on the expense of (say) X38.
