Website + Payment by credit cards

Hi All

Hope this is the right forum. I am starting a small website, which will be selling places on a course.

I am wondering how best to let people pay for the course instantly using their credit cards.

It will only be one 'item' as it were, they wont be buying multiple items, and it will be one price. So should be quite simple.

I hope to design the webpages myself, in mainly HTML. I dont really want to get involved with anything too complex in terms of coding.

What would be the best option ? Any recommendations ?

Paypal is fairly easy to integrate but they charge a fair whack as commission. Other options are things like Worldpay etc.

That pretty much limits your choice down to Paypal

I would go for something like Protx myself, but it does require some server-side scripting.

I've had some bad experiences with Protx, have a look at SecPay - they have some nice cheap starter packages from a tenner a month which give you 100 transactions for free (and a small per-trans fee after that).
