Think I'm in love, Boxster RS60 Spyder

New limited edition boxster that's out this month. 1,960 being built, I think about circa 250 are coming to the UK. Specced up 987S with +8bhp (so 303 in total).

If only my budget would stretch! Interior not to everyone's taste (Carerra red\placenta) but it's growing on me. Only thing I don't like is the missing instrument cowl.

Porsches are fantastic - never been in a Boxster but sister in law owns a Carrera S and that is fantastic

Well it's just the 3.4ltr caymen unit so I don't see why not. Perhaps not into a 986 tho.

I like Boxsters, but that one just looks like...a Boxter. That or the pictures aren't very flattering.

I should have called my Xantia a 'project' or a 'runaround' instead of just 'old'. I didnt realise that was the done thing these days.

Nobody ever seems to have an old banger these days, its always a 'project' or a 'runabout'.

People's opinions of the Boxster make me laugh. I wasn't around at the time, so could someone enlighten me as to whether the 924/944s were regarded as poor mans 911 or judged on their own merits (having said that, I know they started off as a joint project with Audi)?

No that was a car you bought as your daily drive. The 19 I bought to restore, and even then it will be garaged mostly.

I sold a 2001 plate VVTi import Celica last year, does that make a difference to his grace about my standing in your motor world, and my ability to comment on cars. I never realised everything had to be run by you.

Hahaha, you are awesome, I was just pointing out its always people who cannot afford a Boxster who criticise them - then you came along and criticised them it just fell beautifully into place
