Is a Cooler Master ATC 101 a decent case for water cooling ? or is it to old

A mate of mine has one and is offering to sell it to me. as far as I no this case is years old isn't it ?

Would it be ok for water cooling 1 loop setup ?

I have no idea if this case is a load of crap or not

Ah the 101, that was such a lovely case, my friend had one.

He didn't watercool it, but I watercooled my old version 201 and hated cutting it up, also they aren't that generous with space inside either.

If I was to watercool a 101, i'd have an external rad.

Its definitely not a crap case, its a tribute to what the brand Coolermaster used to stand for

I am going to be embarking on that same project soon again

I did it once before with a single 120mm radiator at the top

I've got a dual rad in the top of my 201 so you can do it in a case that size. Biggest issue for me is finding silent 80mm fans to replace the noisy ones that came with it originally

Soon as I get the time my old 101 is going to be watercooled with a 120.2 in the top.

I managed it in a 201, but the rad was mounted externally on the back. Excuse the ancient camera phone pic:

You might find it a bit tight to get the 120.2 in the top, probably have to go for a thinner rad.
