Top Gear Ground Force (Tonight)

LMFAO I was in tears when the little digger slowly went over as Clarkson was talking :D :D

"You can't garden with a shot gun!"

"You can't prune a tree with a shot gun!"

I don't care how staged it was (you could see the windows of the house were boarded up, yeah that's really whatshisface's house ;) Lol ) it was hilarious :D

Was clearly stages as everyone else has said.. but it was for charity so we can't rip it :p

Anyone else see clarkson accidently stab the shotgun into the garden when he first got it out ?

I was expecting the chamber to explode

i was in stitches for the most part, staged obviously, but i think that was the point. It was highly entertaining, got any syphillis?, Gonnorhoea? pmsl

Staged yes, great entertainment yes. Glad I decided to watch it, fake V1 chicken rotisserie now that was pure genious and the most ive laughed since the "Petercopter" on Family Guy.

I honestly dont see why people keep coming in and going OMG ITS STAGED. Of course its staged, its a scripted comedy show. It's like going to watch a show at the theatre and shouting OMG ITS STAGED. It makes you look like an idiot.

Anyone else surprised at the stuff health & safety let them get away with?
I'm not saying H&S is always right, but Clarkson with a shotgun? Spinning 3 chickens at high speed whilst standing 2 feet from it (with fire)?

Well, for a start, are you sure the shotgun was loaded?

Secondly, what wasn't a real jet engine. However, spinning chickens can be deadly. :p

"Pole on fire!" lmao. Just started watching this and found it hilarious. Staged yes but quite funny still.

Was very poor I thought. The comedy was as if it was written by 2 year olds - contrived and unfunny.

There is nothing wrong with something being scripted, or incidents engineered, but it was just so poorly done. Was a fun premise, but wrecked by terrible writing and 'acting'. They are not actors, which is fair enough, but maybe they should realise that themselves and not try to act staged events when they clearly can't.

I really hope in the new series of Top Gear they move away from such staged stuff. Just isn't funny, detracts from the other good bits, and actualy undermines genuine funny moments or unusual incidents which may happen on their show.

Was so unfunny it isn't err..funny.
Btw do they deliberately dress Clarkson in clothes that don't fit ?
Maybe it's for added comic value.

You guys realise you are free not to watch this sort of thing if you dont like it? Then those of us who find it amusing can continue to enjoy it ;)
