Chatting people up when you are drunk

Went to an F1 night saturday, stunning little barmaid that i thought i'd have a word with, now i was drunk so made the vital mistake of not asking for the number. (schoolboy error)

now the pub she works in is 30 mile from home and she only works friday and saturday nights. so not easy to get there again. :(

prolly got no chance at all but still, worth a go... nothing to lose and all that.

just thinking, what else did i do whilst slightly drunk, is it worth even showing up again lol. im prob the drunk that drolled and that he was making sense all night.


anyone else forget the vital requirments when attempting to chat a young lady up when intoxicated?? :p
 
Yes, I forgot where I left the girl I was chatting up whilst I went to get some drinks. She had to find me and was not impressed. :p
 
I avoid chatting people up when I'm drunk as it's never an attractive quality being hammered and like you said, you forget the basics.

i.e the ability to talk properly

And there are only 3 billion other women in the world. You poor thing.

Trouble with chatting up women when your drunk is when you see them the next day they turn from a princess to a dog.

Best to try pulling some really good looking lass when your sober, and always go for something way out of your league cause most of the time they will say yes cause they see you as tres confident being able to do it without the need of drink.
 
Sometimes the uglier or more average looking girls can actually be more hostile to an approach. :o

i was taking the **** out of myself just generally asking. im not bothered at all.

so thats for that now you can leave with your post that had nothing to do with anything!
 
I remember at a wedding once, a friend of mine was chatting a girl up at the bar, and the disco was going on quite loud. Unfortunatley for him, as a song ended he was pitching the chat up line really loud and really drunk "I like your dress I seen one like it in dorothy perkins when walking passed the other day" and then the next song started!

The whole room turned to look and point/laugh. He got a slap and then dropped his pint.

pure greatness when the music stops or it isnt mixed in and everything heres it all lol
 
lol I rember saying to a bird one night when I was hammered.

" you don't sweat much for a fat bird do you?" not a good move. for one she was not a fat bird, I just throught i was being funny/smoot :)
 
ive got drunk and chatted this bird at my sisters wedding (a few years back) the next day i got the father son talk!
still to this day dont know what i did!

Just in case the obvious isn't apparant here - the girl is a barmaid and is therefore paid to put up with drunk people and generally be nice to them. That doesn't necessarily mean she is attracted to you, you've got to be pretty obnoxious to upset barmaids in my experience and even then being obnoxious isn't a guarantee of that.

Of course if she had her tongue down your throat then feel free to ignore the above - she might well be attracted to you. I'm just saying don't take it as read that someone who is paid to put up with drunk people is doing anything other than their job by speaking to you.

And yep, I've said and done some pretty stupid things while drunk - "no, I'm not going to sleep with you tonight" to an attractive young lady being one of them. ;)
