I never said it's only Arsenal. The topic at hand is based around Arsenal though, but I never said it's ONLY Arsenal. Why does any player still do it? Your argument loses weight as you seem to keep implying that its only Arsenal. Why do players still dive? Why does any player continue to do what they do when its not in the best interests of the club?
You don't watch much football clearly, Ronaldo doesn't 'like a dive'. Rooney doesn't kick out at players to hurt them anymore. I think you've dug yourself into a hole and are just clutching at straws now.Are you suggesting that players from any team other than Arsenal learn their lesson and suddenly stop doing whatever it is they are doing after an internal chat? Rooney doesn't stop with the attitude. Ronaldo still likes a dive. Does that mean that Ferguson is happy for them to do that?
Indeed, I've always said all good teams have a 'dirty' player, someone who will do the nitty-gritty when it's needed, Vieira and Keane are peerless at what they did in their prime, but that's part of the game. What I'm talking is when they do stuff not in the spirit of the game like kicking into Haaland or Spitting.Ultimately its because they are human, and in the heat of the moment we all do stupid things. Great players like Vieira and Keane carried on playing the way they played whatever as it was in their nature. A slap on the rist from the manager was never going to change them as people or players.
It's stuff like feigning injuries to try and get players sent off like Fabregas does often for example, that annoy me (and everyone else who watches football).
Not at all, if you'd been around any longer than 5-seconds you'd see I've praised Arsenal many, many, many times in the past (and even present). You seem to have this huge anti-Arsenal chip on your shoulder for some reason which is clouding any logic.![]()
