Champions League Quarter/Semi Final Draw + Uefa CUp

Why does any player still do it? Your argument loses weight as you seem to keep implying that its only Arsenal. Why do players still dive? Why does any player continue to do what they do when its not in the best interests of the club?
I never said it's only Arsenal. The topic at hand is based around Arsenal though, but I never said it's ONLY Arsenal.

Are you suggesting that players from any team other than Arsenal learn their lesson and suddenly stop doing whatever it is they are doing after an internal chat? Rooney doesn't stop with the attitude. Ronaldo still likes a dive. Does that mean that Ferguson is happy for them to do that?
You don't watch much football clearly, Ronaldo doesn't 'like a dive'. Rooney doesn't kick out at players to hurt them anymore. I think you've dug yourself into a hole and are just clutching at straws now.

Ultimately its because they are human, and in the heat of the moment we all do stupid things. Great players like Vieira and Keane carried on playing the way they played whatever as it was in their nature. A slap on the rist from the manager was never going to change them as people or players.
Indeed, I've always said all good teams have a 'dirty' player, someone who will do the nitty-gritty when it's needed, Vieira and Keane are peerless at what they did in their prime, but that's part of the game. What I'm talking is when they do stuff not in the spirit of the game like kicking into Haaland or Spitting.
It's stuff like feigning injuries to try and get players sent off like Fabregas does often for example, that annoy me (and everyone else who watches football).

You seem to have this huge anti-Arsenal chip on your shoulder for some reason which is clouding any logic.
Not at all, if you'd been around any longer than 5-seconds you'd see I've praised Arsenal many, many, many times in the past (and even present).

I've seen Ronaldo dive this season. Also I wasn't talking about Rooney kicking out. I mean the back chat. Its quite possible that he could get sent off for it in a very important game. I'm sure you'll agree and I'm guessing Fergy doesn't want this. Doesn't stop him doing it though although by your logic it should stop him doing it.

You need to back it up really. I've never seen Fab try to get someone sent off to the extent you claim. Even after the Taylor challenge.

Your arguments are losing logic now. You still haven't explained your remarks about Arsenal players not learning their lesson if there are internal disciplinaries even though it probably relates to every other team in the world. You've just made the clutching at straws comment as an easy way out.

I'll call it a day on this topic as its going no where and getting a bit silly. As I said before most teams are as bad as each other. Look around at forums for teams after they have played one of the top four and you'll see outcries about injustices, cheating, favouritism etc. As much for ManU (maybe more so if some teams fans are to be believed) as any of the other top 4.

Last week against Wigan, pushed Heskey into the camera man, then turned holding his face. A few weeks ago getting Arteta sent off, again holding his face. Then there are the incidents with Lampard. There are more, but those are the ones off the top of my head that you should know.

How is my argument losing logic?

That's it, back out. You've come wading into an argument and not been able to back up a single point, then come to me and say I'm 'losing logic' and am looking for an 'easy way out'. Arsenal are one of the most petty teams I've ever seen.

As for Man Utd favouritism, who by, the officials? The same ones who rarely give us penalties? The same ones who allowed Portsmouth to kick the hell out of us, turn down a surefire penalty then send our keeper off for something that's not a red-card? What you're saying is an absolute joke.

But it's not up to date :p
was there something in the chelsea match as well, right at the end? i think there was some contact though.

Didn't he put in a shocking tackle on Cole before rolling around on the floor after Cole pushed him in the face?

Excellent player but he's a complete ****.
