Assignments left to the last second!!?!?!

I was always like this at Uni. The first time I stayed up all night to finish an assignment I said to myself I would never do it again. However staying up all night suddenly became routine and I stayed up all night to finish most of mine from then on!

My closest one though was my dissertation where it really was last minute. I had someone drive me to campus (I don't think I would have made it if I ran!) with my usb stick, so I could print it all off. In the end I handed it all in about 30 mins after I was supposed to hand it in. Thank god the person collecting it was really nice and agreed to stick about for a bit longer after a lot of begging!

Thinking back I really don't know how I managed to get through Uni at all let alone with a decent grade. :o
 
I always leave everything to the night before, even revising for an exam. I'm bone idle when it comes to studying, can't wait till uni's over
 
I do the same as its only the pressure of a looming deadline that makes me work.

I had an assignment in for 9am on Monday, which I started on Sunday afternoon. Ended up losing 6% by handing it in by 9am on Wednesday :( I could have done it for Tuesday, but because I had already decided my own new deadline, I decided to watch NCIS instead :confused:

I do hope this was for more than one beam, it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours to do it manually (and about 30 seconds to do it on a computer + 10 mins to check you put the right figures in in the first place). :D
 
Im exactly like this, ive actually fail a module because of it! Its even worse when the majority of your housemates are all the same! Serious lack of motivation!
 
Although I havnt handed in anything late after a deadline I have a few times stayed up quite late to get essays done for the mourning. This is usually essays on boring subjects lol, give me a program or website to code for an assignment and I always have it done week or so before :p. Seem to get more motivated doing them.
