What's the best way to apply it? I.e. swirl it around or what?

Vauxhall red is prone to fading, as are reds from other Manufacturers.
Invest in a cheapo Rotary polisher from Ebay (35 notes), will make your cars worth another £150 imo.Its all in the presentation imo when it comes to selling cars, the sheds ive sold is unbelievable, they all had one thing in common, they were all shiney
Failing that, find a local valeter and strike a deal, we have a old boy locally who do a basic valet for £35, it took him an afternoon to get a car upto scratch.
Polishing a Vauxhall Corsa is like making love to a beautiful woman.
Is this the one you have?

Thinking of getting on myself with some Scratch X to remove a few light scratches on my paintwork.

Scratch X is rubbish, if your buying a Silverline, use some proper cutting compound with it.
