Serious sam 2 worth playing in co-op?

Hi folks,

I really enjoyed Serious Sam and Serious Sam 2nd Encounter in co-op over the net, but what are your opinions on Serious Sam 2? is it as much fun as the 1st two in co-op? is it worth a buy for £10? or does it suck? I've heard mixed reviews.

I'd like to know your opinions as I may buy if I can find it cheap

I bought that cheap and played with a friend a month or two ago, for us at least it was rather good fun. Was a good buy.
It gets quite hectic and fast paced at times, also some parts are hilarious.
 
Me and snowdog (from the forums here also) had a go with this in co-op mode. Was fun but it got really annoying that the enemies just keep on coming so levels can last AGES. Which i got sick of so stoped playing after we got through a lot tho i think about half way but as i said it got boring cos of nothin but enemies coming after you.
 
Few mates played SS1 endlessly, finding all the secrets etc. SS2 however, never really got into it the same way. Didnt really bring anything new to the game either.
 
Not really worth it imo. Played it for 2 hours in CO-OP and then never touched it again.

Save yourself a tenner and buy something more usefull and/or fun.

I've got to be honest and say I've not really played it yet, been stupidly busy at work and just don't find the time to play it. A friend and I used to play SS original and thoroughly enjoyed it which is why we picked this up! I'll give it a blast in a bit and report back :)
