What are your theories on how humans will be wiped out?

Do you think the sun will kill us?

We'll destroy ourselves with some sort of weapon or virus?

All the continents come back together to create a super volcano?

A meteor?

I think the most likely cause will be either a war or a human-caused plague of some incurable illness. We've been here for a million years+ and survived other things. Unfortunately we've only been capable of wiping ourselves out for the past 50.

I don't think there will ever be an incurable illness, if worst comes to worst they will just section off anyone with the illness and kill them. I don't think we'll go that easy.

More likely we will stop being that which we view as human, we could evolve or devolve.

A virus or war isn't going to affect people on the ISS.

lots of simple people will make irritating threads, so all the smart people will kill themselves, and the human race won't last long after everyone with half a brain has died.

There isn't any reason for us to evolve though, we don't need super long necks to get to trees to get food for example. If anything we would just become super lazy slobs due to our reliance on technology nowadays.

I think we'll run out of food or space and the carrying capacity of the land will just give in. I'd like to see it happen. I think the destruction of the human race is pretty much what we deserve.

If it escalated to mutually assured destruction by nuclear weapons, quite possible.

I also disagree with you about our evolution: We're still evolving in the west as sexual selection, especially thanks to television, is creating a trend of people getting taller. Not to mention the fascination men seem to have with huge-breasted, blonde women.

Aside from that you're also leaving out artificial evolution. Cybernetic enhancements/implants and the like.
