Does all 8800gtx cards have a black PCB ???

Am still thinking of buying a second 8800gtx to go with my EVGA 8800gtx for SLI...But i want them to have matching black PCB's.....

Does anyone know if all 8800gtx GPU cards come with black PCB's ???

I've seen 8800GTX with green PCBs but can't be sure which brands come with which colour though. But I think majority have black PCB.

Am still trying to work out if i want to spend this amount of money on a GPU card that got released about 15months ago

Or should i wait a few weeks/months and see how much the new nvidia 9800 (GTS/GTX ?) gpu cards go for

(I don't want one of the new lego 9800GX2 )

I'd only look at 2nd hand GTX as there were a few went for £180. Truth is even after 15 months there really is still nothing on the market atm to completely replace the GTX apart from maybe the GTS 512mb but even that falls short in some games due to 256bit memory.

Also if rumour is to be believed the new 9800GTX will be based on the G92 GTS so won't be that much faster than the current 8800GTX I think.

But the new 9800gtx should use much less power..(= lower electric bills and less heat output)

Don't think it's gonna make THAT much difference unless you're running your pc is running 3D 24/7 tbh.

Besides you wouldn't even think about SLIing 8800GTX if power consumption means that much to you.

I do leave my PC running 24hrs a day a lot...

24/7 at idle = about £200 a year electric already (not counting speakers,monitor etc)...
I want to upgrade to a SLI & quad cpu but i don't want to have to pay a £300+ electric bill a year just for the PC..

1920x1200 & 1080p gaming on dell 24" monitor & 1080p plasma...

This 256bit memory bus wrorys me if this spec does turn out to be true....

I cant remember what GTX I have but its definitely on a green pcb (I thought it was BFG -non OC version - but I cant swear to it
