the Israeli style of doing things is very different to the english.
people don't really care about the outward appearance of buildings at all.

i was in Tel-Aviv over Christmas, btw.

if you think Tel-Aviv is bad, go to see Yaffa! :D
 
Do they still do that thing where they have you sit an interview at the airport before they let you get on the plane and fly? i remember at manchester airport a few years back thay did this on all flights to israel.

they didn't have it for me when i flew there a couple of months ago...
 
Thread ressurection..

I made it back ok a few weeks ago....

I'm back out there again in a weeks time!

It was quite normal actually, the airport did have more security (even more than the US!) but other than that it was all fairly normal! :)
 
hmmm... I have to say....
They wimmin weren't all that?!? Granted, there are some stunners but the vast majority weren't worth mentioning.
