I mean surely you'd expect some kind of improvement in some area or another, but another SLi connector? Are they serious? I mean, at least ATi fixed some really pressing issues when they changed that 2 to a 3 (heat, noise and power consumption), but nvidia are doing sweet FA unless you count making the card a tad longer...

Good point. I guess eVGA could collect unwitting people's money, then refurbish the 8800 GTX with a new heatsink or something and sell it for normal price. They'll have a field day.

for anyone not having the 8 series aka people with the 7 series, or X1000 series this would be a good upgrade.

A 8800GT or GTS 512 would be.
