Next to the ketchup...
Right I'm moving at th end of the month, and am going to have some spare time whilst I wait to start my new job, so I need to new games for my 360, I have recently finished:

COD 4
BioShock
The Darkness
Halo 3
The Orange Box

So those are all out the window, what else can anyone recommend? Keep hearing a lot about this mass effect game, any good? And I remember watching a video a while ago for army of 2 but I wont have the interent straight away in my house, so is it going to be a bit pap unless I can play online co op?

Picked dead rising up the other day, was not very impressed with it at all, have been thinking about oblivion for some time now, might have to have a look round for a cheap copy somewhere.

I'd Look for the Game of the Year Edition if I were you :) Comes with expansion packs, and can be found pretty cheap.

As for recommendations

Mass Effect. Without a doubt. It's great.

Lost Odyssey. Without another doubt. It's awesome

there seem to be a lot of good sounding rpg's coming out at the moment. Was tempted by RSV2 but I was a bit dissapointed with the first one, and was dissapointed with the online play.

My opnion only, but I think Lost Odyssey is the best game on the 360 right now. However, it's not to everyones taste. If you don't like JRPG's, you may have trouble liking LO. Rent it if you're unsure.

You like shooters it seems, so Mass Effect would be my next pick. It's an action RPG and it's excellent.

it aint finished till you get 1000gamerpoints from it! ....i wish i could get thqt out of my head so i could sell all my old bloody games!

I'm supprised how many people rate Mass Effect while it was OK it seemed very short and no where as good as KOTOR.

Games i would recomend are

Oblivion
Dead Rising
Splinter Cell
Bioshock
Orange Box (assuming you haven't got in on the PC)

If you into online play then also have a look at COD4 and Crackdown

Crackdown can be fun. HAve played a few hours of that. Though I worry it might get a bit samey after a little while.... not tried online.

For older xbox games you could try the suffering and ninja gaiden, assuming you have not played them. Though ninja gaiden walks a fine line sometimes between great fun and icredibly infuriating - almost threw my controller today playing it :)

Not had my box long, so still playing a lot of catch up myself.
