I went along on a bike a few years back, the only disadvantage was when people decided to make a move they dont hang about so you have to rush to get your kit on and back on the road. There was one instance where the bike spent more time in the air than on the road along a particular road, oh and watch out for the zig-zag bridge, claimed a casualty when I went and almost had me off, I was trying to brake quite hard while leaning into a corner on wet roads, things got a little hairy I have to admit.
