very nice, if it was mine better alloys i would have to, but thats personal taste ;)

Gibbo? Buys all the parts in that you buy from OCUK.

and that pays well :( awesome job and life :(

/goes to cry

IIRC he has his name down on a Dodge Challenger in 2009. 8 Litre of Hemi goodness IIRC :)

Actually, I meant to put Challenger but for some reason typed Charger. :p

I really hope he has, I'd love to see, and hear, one of those in the flesh so to speak.

Hi there

Yep giving this years a skip as its FULL AUTO only and the smaller engine and not so tweaked.

Hopefully the more hardcore version will weigh less than 1800kg and will be a manual along with 500+ BHP standard. For me I am finding its not what a car can do but its character and how it goes about it, and sorry to the BMW fans but the Mustang, Corvettes have a whole lot more character which in turn for me is more fun.

The CSL is staying now simply for the fact its so good at everything and is still worth what I paid for it. :)

That mustang is just too nice, it's unreal...why on earth don't ford sell them over here?

fto drexel, dunno if this question has been asked to you before..

which car did ( do? ) you prefer out of the Rex and the Scooby?

Integra:p

Pretty sure the rear plate on the Mustang isn't fully legal, unless it comes under a different import law?

even if they were sold here i bet they would be uber expenisve.

Look at the crysler 300, dirt cheap in the states and very expensive over here

They both had thier strengths, the Scooby was great in that it had endless grip and you could drive it the same in the wet as you would in the dry, but it was also a little 'clinical' in that sense. A little, dare I say it, boring :o The steering also lacked feel. It was an awesome car though, massively capable and made small work of B-Roads, there wasn't a lot about that could touch it there.

The Rex was a totally different kettle of fish, it was a ****ing animal. Rediculously quick, but verging on dangerous in the wet. It would light up the tyres in the first 3 gears in the wet, I remember overtaking a lorry on a damp day and the arse stepping out about half way past. I just kept my foot in and overtook at at an angle :D It was so controllable though, and gave absolutely incredible feedback.

Which did I prefer? Hard to say. The Scoob was the quicker B-Road car, no doubt about it, but for sheer ****-your-pants fun the Rex probably pips it for me.

Truth be known though, I genuinely prefer the 'teg to them both. It has loads of grip, amazing driver feedback, and a chassis that is so playfull it just begs you to take it by the balls and give it more and more beans. It has the 'abliity' of the scoob, and the 'fun' of the Rex, all rolled up into one fantastically balanced package. It just proves that silly power isn't everything.

Funny Gibbo's SM should pop up, i was talking to a Polish colleague the other week and he showed me a picture on his phone, i scrolled down some more photos and there he was, stood next to Gibbo's Mustang outside OcUK HQ!! Made me chuckle :)

Not quite. The modern Hemi is topping out at 6.1L for roadcars. Chrysler showed off a 6.4 at SEMA, this may or may not end up in a 'super-stock' version of the Challenger built specifically for drag racing.

Not that this matters of course, given that the magic 426 cubic inches (that would be 7 litres for those who can't do maths) is a very-much viable option :D

Think it is mate, I've had some small plates in my time on various trailers etc, never an issue with V.O.S.A.

Gibbo, so the police checked out your car and they had no issues with the numberplate? how long did you have the car without the plate?

I am getting the hint that if you have a unique car, they are unlikely to worry about you missing the plate on the front?
