Anyone got any laser eye LASEK success stories?

My dad had it done about 8 years ago. He knows some other people who've had it done too. Apparently it makes you lose short-vision quicker as you get older.
 
I've got many friends who've had it done, all highly recommend it.

I've been for a consultation at the top 3 companies and have decided that I will either get it done in Bristol at Optimax if I can get the surgeon I want, or go and see Penski's missus in Newcastle and get it done there (family live up North so I can stay with them afterwards)

you will have quite a few follow up appointments to attend ,bare this in mind if you dont want to travel much
 
Stan...You might find this a bit upsetting but all the ladies in the laser team wear clogs on surgery day...Not quite 6" patent heels... :p
