Can someone help me with Hotels near the BBC

Im going up to the BBC Tele Centre monday night and need somewhere to stay.

searching for a cheap hotel / travel lodge, but i will be drinking so need somewhere not to far from the centre, any ideas at all?? anyone had to stay near by before??

No idea about hotels... but I'm curious - are you gonna be on Kilroy or one of those daytime TV chatshows? If so, what's the topic about?

There are plenty of hotels in Shepherd's Bush. Not stayed in any of them, but they are within staggering distance of TVC. Shepherd's Bush Tube Station is closed at the moment so you've got to walk from White City (opposite TVC) or get the replacement bus anyway.

seeems like i found a hotel but now trying to work out weather the tube will be running or not

i'll need to get from Fulham Broadway to White City (or) Shepards Bush late afternoon.

but not getting any luck on the tube website

A good pub is the Plough & Harrow which is a few minutes walk from Hammersmith tube

Shepherd's Bush station is closed until September, so you'll not be going there.

Edit - Fulham B to Notting Hill Gate and then change onto the Central Line to White City.

White City is directly opposite TVC and there is a replacement bus service going back to SB from there. Or you can jsut walk down the road, which takes about 10 minutes.

First part is District Line, total journey takes about 22 minutes.
