Looking to goto chessington on Sunday, should be a laugh... until i try to sit in any of the size restricted rides (which is most of the top rides!!).
Chest restriction for waists above 51", now my waist is nowhere near that but my chest is and with clothes on its going to be interesting!!

Here's hoping to me fitting in the big rides otherwise its all day in the zoo with 35st Gorilla Kumba! Which brings me to another random point.. if i ate bananas like kumba does, would i be as big and muscular as him haha :D

I struggle now and I'm not even in the same league of "bigness" as you (46" chest/back). Thighs and chest/back are always my main problem - it depends whether the ride outweighs the discomfort :p

my thighs are a nightmare on flights, especially when the damn trolley dollys insist that my arm rest is down!
always interesting if i am stuck in a seat between to other people as well hehe

I always have the proble of sitting next to a big bloke so that the rail doesn't actually secure me on the ride I almost got thrown out of the magic carpet ride 6 times on one ride when that was still deemed safe

Thankfully I don't like rides like that or I'd probably be in the same position as you, but I'm flying this year for the first time since I was a baby and i'm a bit apprehensive about the seat sizes on the stag do (cheapo cattle class, at least the honeymoon we've taken an upgrade). From one bigger lad to another, Is it a really bad squeeze?

I also HATE trying to find clothes to fit.

How big are your thighs?

If its cattle class on a cheap company then you will probably struggle.
Virgin economy is actually acceptable for me (leg room, but not shoulder width!).

Easyjet with my 30" (almost 31 now!) thighs is a nightmare!

As for clothes, again, whats your waist size? I can find 42" jeans (40"s would fit my waist but not my thighs or fat ass) and tops to fit me these days!

Just make sure you don't sit in the middle. I can't really fit anywhere but the aisle seat - again purely for the wide factor and the leg factor. Legroom's not bad as I'm only 6'1".

Yep, window seats are worse than having someone sat next to you as its a solid wall!
aisle seats are a must if you are wide, yes you get hit once or twice, but atleast you can relax a little :]

I was told off by a steward for sticking out of my seat :/ I said, where else am I supposed to be? He suggested I sat more centrally in my seat - I said, how?! So he said well I can't help you if I run into you with my trolley - I said, well you better be careful when you know you're getting closer to me then eh?

This went on for a while - what a **** that guy was, camp as anything too which just added to the irritation effect :p

It's good being big sometimes as people don't tend to snap at you on the plane when you get up to talk to them. :D

Thighs are currently about 26" (got a foot injury thats laid me off most leg work for a while), normally about 29".

Waist is 36" so I tend to buy a 38" waist but loose fit, most places seem to be getting over the skinny fit now at least and I've picked up a few pairs of jeans lately. T shirts I just tend to wear anything thats XXL if I can find it and find something I actually like.

Sounds like i'll be taking an aisle seat on the stag do then! Hopefully the upgrade on the flight to Mexico will help if we've been allocated a window/middle seat.

That's mildly impressive, I can still fit into size 30" waist jeans I think. I do however have problems with airlines in both legroom and shoulder width - just not waist or thigh measurements particularly. :)

As for the ride, never mind the chest, will the ride collars close over your traps? :p

lol! :D

30" waist?!

It seems every man has width problems in plane seats unless you're particularly slight. Hmm I've put on a good few inches around the chest over the past year - it'll be interesting to see how I get on when I go to NY in a couple of weeks :D

With your current size you should have no problem finding jeans in any high street store, though with 29" legs im amazed you dont need custom jeans to go with your waist size!
Whats your chest size? I'm guessing you are 48" minimum given the need for xxl tops?

oh bugger, forgot the newer ones come over the head (ooer!). I remember years ago at alton towers I had to get the ride attendent to push really hard onto the collar to make it click in, think that was on oblivion!

Yeah normal jeans are possible at the moment, won't last long once I get squating again, seem to have really good muscle memory in my legs. I do own a pair of the Gasp super baggy jeans for leg days when I was pumped up. I don't think anyone would struggle to fit into those things.

48" relaxed, 52" with a deep breath. Suits are always fun as i'm sure you've noticed, if it fits the chest/back there's usually enough room to get another person in the stomach.

Hell yeah, can never buy at short notice as major works are needed to stop it (and a dress shirt) looking like a tent hehe :D
Have you posted pics up? you have great stats :]

Yeah I give the women in the alterations shop too much of my money these days. Rental suit for my wedding should be fun, probably should have bought one and had it altered like I had to for my graduation tux.

Not posted any up, i'm in a state of rebuilding at the moment (tore a biceps tendon that stopped all upper body work for a year) and I hate cameras to be honest.

You post on any of the bodybuilding forums?

I'm not as big as Morba or yourself, but buying shirts is a pain as I have an 18" neck, 46" (relaxed) chest and 34" waist - it feels like I'm tucking in half a tent into my trousers! :p
