When being big isn't good..

Yeah I give the women in the alterations shop too much of my money these days. Rental suit for my wedding should be fun, probably should have bought one and had it altered like I had to for my graduation tux.

Not posted any up, i'm in a state of rebuilding at the moment (tore a biceps tendon that stopped all upper body work for a year) and I hate cameras to be honest.

You post on any of the bodybuilding forums?

I have posted a couple of times on MT, viewed MP for quite a while but dont think i have ever posted. Read many other places and also post on one other. Nothing major though!

Unlucky on the bicep, how is the recovery coming on?

I'm not as big as Morba or yourself, but buying shirts is a pain as I have an 18" neck, 46" (relaxed) chest and 34" waist - it feels like I'm tucking in half a tent into my trousers! :p

Its mad isnt it. For some reason these people seem to think that having a large neck and chest means you will have a waist that is atleast 10"'s bigger, yet somehow forget that arms might be a bit bigger.

I think there is a gap in the market for normal clothes for bodybuilders hehe.
Hmm, now why didnt i learn how to use a sewing machine at school!! haha

I've stopped aswell, used to mod on c-k-d.com but it seems the owners taken it down  given up on posting on bodybuilding.com aswell, full of idiots even more than ever.

It's pretty good, I was convinced it was a rotator cuff but physio reckoned it was the bicep tendon. Over head press is still limited and pull downs give me greif if I even slightly relax my rhomboids at the stretch position but other wise it's getting there.

Thats the problem, most places seem full of idiots recently :/

Good news that you are able to work though, thats a start, even if it is a long road :]

Absolutely there is, not even just bodybuilders, I'd imagine a fair few rugby players etc struggle to get well fitting clothes off the shelf, especially during bulk season when you don't want something clingy on ;)

Yeah, the Misc section at bodybuilding.com has seemed to drag the whole site down, might have to go check out some of the more underground/advanced boards again.

Yeah it's great, dropping fat like mad (combining a CKD with training) while muscle memory allows me to add some mass back, if only we could always get away with doing it :D

Suits are always fun as i'm sure you've noticed, if it fits the chest/back there's usually enough room to get another person in the stomach.

When i was in Hong Kong i had 4 suits made for me (with an extra 5 pair of trousers) Cost a fair bit for the lot, but i have a suit that fits perfectly and that i can full squat in without any problems (if i wanted to)

30" waist?!

If it makes you feel any better I don't normally wear 30" jeans any more, 32" or 34" is more likely with a good belt - mainly because I can't be bothered searching for ones that fit properly and a bigger waist size means a longer leg/more relaxed fit usually.

Just decided I wanted to see if I still could wear 30" waist, tested with a pair of old jeans and I can still wear them easily but I know I've put on weight since I last wore them yet they aren't any tighter. :)

My main issue is with trousers, in that my thighs will rub through the material between my legs in no time at all.

Yeah, I hate that, lost many a nice fitting pair of jeans that way :(

The suits sound good but I can't justify a trip to Hong Kong for a suit, I wear jeans and tshirts at work usually.:p Can't wait to see the proof of a full squat in a suit :D

I'd RTM you for picking on me but you'd probably be the one that got the message anyway. :p :D

Morba / chimponarope / oddjob / any other big thighed individuals - how long do trousers last before the crotch/inner thigh area is chewed through? Mine last 6-12months :( Which is why I don't buy expensive trousers!
