GTA Vice City - how shall I play it?

Well I thought Id play the only GTA ive never played before GTA 4 comes out.

So I tried to set up my pc control which is like a replica of the xbox control s (not the mahusive xbox control, the newer one they brought out) and the analog sticks arnt working. Is there a fix for this?

But how is it playing the game with mouse and keyboard?

How shall I play it. Bearing in mind Ive always played GTA on the consoles.

Is it good on mouse and keyboard?

apart from the driving the game is easily playable with a mouse and keyboard

i love playing with the mouse and keyboard... you get used to it after a while...

Mouse and keyboard is fine although some of the helicopter missions are a bit fiddly

you're missing out of you dont get a pad working though - its fantastic fun. Use the M+KB for walking /shooting etc but you need a pad to enjoy driving in my opinion.

I envy you a little this game is great fun whenever you play but the first time is always the best

I own the GTA series on PS2 but I've got the PC versions too, I find the PC versions easier in some respects (like fine shooting) so I'd say go with the mouse and keyboard

mouse and keyboard for me. i remember being able to shoot so much more freely in gta3 on pc then on say ps2. so much better than auto aim.

Much nicer overall imo.
Only use pad sometimes to drive leaning back, but that's it.

Only helicopter/plane flying is fiddly with a keyboard imo.
Still not vastly annoying though.
