You'd need a bunch of people playing "drones" for it to work... and for that you may as well play single player.

I'm a big MGS fan but this doesn't interest me at all. The great thing about MGS is the story and the cinematics intertwined with gameplay. With multiplayer you don't get much of that.

Depends if it has a Splinter Cell Double Agent approach where you can help each other etc in co-op with objectives to obtain intelligence etc, obviously drones will need to be in the level.
