*** England vs. New Zealand Cricket (Spoilers) ***

Made it hard but a good win in general, shame we couldnt wrap it up sooner. That guy at the end was laughing at our bowlers.

This series win hides a lot IMO ..

seriously depleted kiwi side .. we played poor cricket at the end of the day, extremely poor cricket ..

Anderson is a pie merchant, Panesar continues to prove that finger spinners only play bit part roles in this era, there are too many pipsqueek technically inadequate players in the top order and the fielding is crap

Hmmm agree with Anderson and Panesar, fielding has been a pit dodgy too. The top order is a difficult one. We all know that Vaughan is class but hasn't batted the way he can for some time while Cook is going through a bit of a rough patch but he's still the youngest English player to reach 2000runs. Strauss was a bit rubbish until this match and Bell was also a bit lacking too. This series won't tell us much really; the South Africa series will be much more telling.

True. We didn't perform to anywhere near our best. A series where 4 of our players get centuries isn't a good think. Fortunately for us the centuries scored did help us get into good positions.

Anderson is about as consistent as a flipping bus in Manchester. One day it is there on time, the next it doesn't appear. When he's good he's brilliant. When he isn't he's quite poor. Meaning on average he's OK.

Sibo is absolutely brilliant and seems a decent chap too. Hope he carries on with his success, he deserves all the best luck in the world him. :D

I think England are lucky to have their next Test series rivals NZ again. With Fleming gone and a very dodgy top order that will undoubtedly lose players as Vettori looks to get new blood in it should be an easy series for us. But the important test will of course be South Africa. If we can do well in that we are making progress.

I think Cook is safe. As you said youngest player to reach 2000 runs and his fielding was stunning at points. Strauss is fairly safe I think but he needs to score more 100+ scores to stay in the team.

As long as England perform then Vaughan is pretty sure of his place I'd say.

That Southee looks very impressive.
Yes very. 19 years old, 5 wickets on debut and flipping knocking 6s. :D

anyone see that clip of that guy falling with his beer. Hilarious
Yeah. :D Classic that. Think he got some other spectators wet as well? There were some unamuses faces in the crowd around him I thought.
