The biggest ass whopping you ever received?

Back when I had the Mondeo someone left me completely and totally for dead in an S1 106 Rallye.

Paradigm's Cupra R was a fair bit faster than it up the Cat & Fiddle run too...

When I had the Scoob I got my arse royally raped by an Evo 5. It was when my car was running 346bhp too, but this Evo made my car look like 1.0L Corsa Merit.

Turns out is was pushing 500bhp :(

Some Porsche convertable (newish shape) full of people, completely rinsed me dry at the lights on a dual carriageway, followed by a superbike doing a wheelie and overtaking the Porsche!

BMW M3 which I egged on at night and it completely destroyed me, was worth it though :)

A 106 left me for dead in a straight line joining the motorway.

We got to about 100km/h before I let off. He was quite a few lengths ahead. Just looked like a normal 106, do they do some "OK" or even quick models? (It deffo wasn't a 106 gti)

What car were you in? Tata Nano? Micra?:p

Me olde faithful Mondeo Estate 2.0 (mk2) Manual.

p.s. Nothing wrong with Micra's, having learnt in a 1.0 K10 they always hold a special place in my heart!

Twice actually, both by rice rockets :p

Was in my suped up 100E with two mates in the car, came off a roundabout sideways and flew up a hill in the left hand lane. I didn't even see it coming but a bright yellow Misubishi Evo just drove round us like we were standing still.

Other time I had my dad's hotrod on loan, 300hp 4.2 V8, on the motorway having a bit of fun with some stickered winged up rice burner at about 90mph. Well all of a sudden some flames shot out the back and this thing went off like it had been fired out a gun. I swear I've never seena nythign accelerate like it. The guy got a total thumbs up from me when he dropped back later - was well impressed :D

Continental GT away from the Fortune of War roundabout in Laindon, if anybody knows it. Despite going hell for leather the Conti just squatted and "glid" away. It was like a spaceship! :p

..and some ford Orion when I was in a 325 or 330 can't recall and he was running something very very serious. Again like road runner to that coyote just as it thinks he has caught the road runner then swoooooosh and gone!

I've had that happen to me before - I've thought I've got someone but in fact they were only about 1/4 throttle - they waited for me to get within touching distance then put me out of my misery.

That was a 10 year old Mercedes. Never seen anything so large move so quick so.

It was like I just dropped an anchor.

Got totally pastered by a Celica GT4 recently, ok i only drive a Vectra GSI but it is quite quick in-gear acceleration, but this Celica made me look like I was going backwards!

In a stickered up black 205GTi with mismatched bonnet and red roll cage, my dad left me for dead with half the power and similar weight despite the pug being on semi-slicks and LSD-shod...And my dad being in my Shuv with skinny remoulds and open diff.

The moral of the story?

Your dad is a better driver. Always.

When I go over the moors/triangle I get owned quite often by people with much bigger **** than me (and a faster car too) :p

Don't quote it then ;)

I haven't been whipped by anything for a while. I remember taking on some kind of quick Audi in my Saab a few years ago, and lost, but that wasn't really a whipping. Was racing to a merge in turn and they got infront by half a length or so, so I conceded defeat and backed off for safety reasons.

Another time, in the same car, I kept up with an escort cosworth to around 120 up the sliproad onto the M1 at junction 26. However, we weren't really "racing" just both put our foot down as we went up the hill. I was actually surprised that I could keep up, so he couldn't have been trying much.

The cerb hasn't really let me down yet, despite it running like a bag of spanners, with a slightly slipping clutch and godawful geometry and damping.

I played with an E46 M3 the other day, was reeling him in up to about 90, when we both seemed to decide, about the same time, that 90 in a 70 was fast enough and he pulled over to the other lane just as I was starting to back off the throttle.

I can't wait to get the cerb properly sorted. It'll go like stink then!

Hmm, well in my early years of driving i thought it would be a good idea to try and overtake a VR6 golf in my 1.1 saxo, i got half way past then he put his foot down and vanished, i was going up a hill at the time, i'm sure if we did the same off a cliff it would have been a much closer race :p

In the Mazda, didn't really get owned by much, but to be fair i didn't really race anyone, i did hand out a good ass whooping to several people however.
